If your lines are not going to be used for a while, it's important to carry out these following steps to avoid a build up of bio-films, bacteria and mold.
If you're thinking of not using your beer lines, you have to get them cleaned. It's important to not leave your lines in any beverages as this will become contaminated.
To keep your beverages and equipment in good condition, removing your beer lines and having them deeply cleaned will protect the equipment and prevent contamination.
We advise you the have your lines cleaned professionally unless you know how to. Do not use hot water to clean your beer lines as this can cause damage. To give your lines a minimum clean, use water. However, we strongly advise giving them a deep clean to avoid build up of bacteria.
